Curriculum Evening for Parents

This will be held on Thursday, September 17 at 7pm in Room 7 and 8. The themes will be the new curriculum versus the old and the key competencies-what are they? what do they mean?

I covered these themes in my first 2 coffee group sessions. This is another chance for anyone else to come along.

The Curriculum Coffee Group is still going ahead each week so come along this week to find out about the National Standards in Maths, Reading and Writing and the Literacy Learning Progressions. These are key documents that are intended to work alongside the national curriculum.

Zac and Abby's Home Learning

I am always impressed when students apply what they learn at school in their own time at home. Here Zac and Abby have used the school's inquiry learning process to discover how to raise calves and make some profit from it. Budding entrepreneurs too.
